| The effort of Lou Pearson and Robbie Robins is dominated
by a passion to create perfect forms in space. With a mixture of media
including stainless steel, bronze and resin, they construct expressive and
abstract forms capturing an impeccable simplicity of line and shape. The
harmony portrayed within each sculpture gives the impression of
spontaneity, but they are precise compositions of line and mass. They are
powerful yet gracefully delivered with authority, effort and style.
Mr. Pearson has exhibited professionally for 35 years in galleries and
museums across the country and is in numerous public and private
collections including Storm King Art Center, Mountainville, NY, and Syntex
Corporation, Palo Alto, CA.
Mr. Robins has formal training and experience as an architect,
participating in projects such as "Spaceship Earth" and "Future World" at
Epcot Center, Orlando, FL, and has worked with Mr. Pearson designing
sculptures for 19 years. |
